09.01Fare-Thee-Well, My Lovelies!
I’m out of this dump at noon to start the trek to Tampa. This weekend will be filled with Goo Goo Dolls and Counting Crows, enjoying the brief bit of privacy at our hotel, going to MOSI to play around in the very interactive museum and to see BODIES: The Exhibition, and coming home to enjoy the rest of our weekend, which includes Labor Day, an oh-so-wonderful paid holiday here in the world of government employment.
I absolutely can not wait.
And yes, I will try to take as many pictures as possible. Except at the concert because there will probably be a throwdown if they try to take my camera, probably making the headlines of CNN.com, probably almost making me a blogging celebrity but probably not quite.
"ANGRY LITTLE KOREAN WOMAN BEATS DOWN SECURITY AT SOFT ROCK CONCERT."
I will thwart them with my kimchi breath! Power to the pickled (not rotten, dammit) cabbage!
My mom would be so proud of how I fully embrace my Korean roots.

Have fun at the soft rock concert – and try not to hurt too many people with that kimchi breath.
(I so need to try some of that stuff – the more I hear you and RSM talk about it, the more I want to try it. Even though it has been described as rotten cabbage. Yum.)
